Topological methods in graph theory

A school on Graph Theory will be organized from May 18 to May 22, 2015, in Porquerolles, France. The purpose of the school is to cover Topological methods in graph theory.

The school will consist of four series of lectures on the following topics:

  • Topological methods in matching theory, by Ron Aharoni.
  • Local chromatic number and related invariants of Kneser-like graphs, by Gabor Simonyi.
  • Ky Fan's lemma, Kneser graphs, and generalizations, by Frédéric Meunier.
  • Topological test graphs and the geometry of stable Kneser graphs, by Carsten Schultz.

Registration

The registration is open. Early registration fees (by April 19, 2015) are the following. They include full pension housing from Sunday May 17 dinner to Friday May 22 lunch.

  • CNRS Members : free (CNRS members are people whose salary is paid by CNRS)
  • Students of EDSTIC : 150 euros
  • Other students, and postdoc : 280 euros
  • Permanent academic staff : 400 euros in double room; 450 euros in single room.
  • Industrial : 500 euros in double room; 550 euros in single room.

Note: Single room housing is limited and we might not be able to fullfill all demands.

Late registration (after April 19, 2015) might still be possible (if some rooms are still available), but the above fees will increase by 100 euros.

Regsitration procedure

The registration follows a 3 steps hand-shake protocol:

  1. Fill in the pre-registration form with personal information (no payment at this point);
  2. Wait for the confirmation email (this steps takes a few days, validation is done manually);
  3. Follow link given in confirmation email to complete your registration.
